Health and Safety, Policy Statement
Management of Aveiro Construction Ltd. is vitally interested in the health and safety of its workers. The protection of workers from injury or occupational disease is a major continuing objective. Aveiro Constructors Ltd. will make every effort to provide a safe and healthy work environment. All supervisors and workers must be dedicated to the continuing objective of reducing injury risk.

Aveiro Constructors Ltd. as an employer is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. As president of Aveiro Constructors Ltd. I give you my personal promise that every reasonable precaution within my ability will be taken for the protection of workers.

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. Workers must recieve adequate training in their specific tasks to protect their health and safety.

Every worker must protect his or her own health and safety by working in complicance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations and with safe work procedures established by this company and/or its clients. All workers are reminded of their right to refuse to perform unsafe work.

It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in every activity. Commitment to health and safety must form an integral part of this organization, from the president to the workers.

The final responsibility for safety is mine, and by the review of injury frequencies with all staff. This is to ensure the implementation of preventative measures in order to prevent the recurrence of any injuries. I also insist on the continuous improvement of inspection reports thus the accountability and action of this policy will be obtained.
